We produce onions within a radious of up to 150 km from Mar del Plata and our associates produce them in the region of Viedma and Choele Choel (both in the province of Rio Negro). The onions we produce in all the areas are planted with hybrid seeds. At the time of the harvest, the onions are stacked in the field and kept during a period of approximately 30 days in a process called curing, thus developing cataphiles which give color and quality to the bulbs.
